Les cast assessment de Jeff Probst revus à posteriori [spoilers saisons 18-...]

Je me suis amusé à me (re)faire les vidéos "cast assessment" que Jeff Probst fait juste avant le tournage de chaque saison depuis Tocantins et dans lesquelles il donne ses impressions sur les différents candidats et dit parfois ce qu'il pense qu'ils donneront une fois dans le jeu. Voici ce que j'ai retenu :

TOCANTINS

Tyson's one of my favorites this season because he is maniacal. And I don't know what he's gonna do. He's devilish, he's got a great look. He looks like trouble. And he's gonna cause trouble Plutôt bien vu.

Sandy will be off, unfortunately, very very early. It's not fair, but she's the oldest woman out here, and... she's gonna be labelled that instantly, she's country, she can swear with he best of 'em, she's very likable. And she's gonna be angry when it happens. But it's gonna happen. Plutôt bien vu aussi.

J.T. [...] I think J.T. is gonna get flirted with, and probably do some heavy flirting himself, and it wouldn't surprise me to see a couple of alliances form between, you know, handsome guy and sexy girl. Un peu à côté de la plaque.

Stephen... is gonna have a big job to integrate well. Because he's a little more of an intellect. And... if he can use those skills in the right way, I think he could do really well. Because he has great people's skills Un peu sous-estimé par Probst je trouve.

Benjamin, he's done all these adventures. He'll tell you for days, all the things he's done. All the women he has. He's a conductor. He's a kayaker. He's a whatever. Do I ever get tired of him ? Absolutely not. Keep telling me more. I love it. I wouldn't want my sister to date him, but I love him on Survivor! Il avait bien cerné le personnage!

SAMOA

Russell Hantz is the closest thing to evil we've ever had on Survivor. Guy has got a diabolical mind. He's got this great big idea, that if I sabotage my own tribe they'll be so weak, they'll be out of the game. Well that might be true but so will you. It is a tribe game for a long time. Russell has either forgotten or is unaware that this is a social game. He may get second. He damn sure ain't gonna win. Très très bien vu !

Ben is a timebomb. Dude is a timebomb waiting to go off. Question is when. It's gonna happen. If he lasts long enough in this game Ben will go off. Like a boulder rocket. And then the question will be if he can recover from it. I thinh he's a really complicated and interesting player. Definitely one man to stick around. Bien vu.

I don't trust Mick. I really don't. I think he is a guy, he's a good looking guy, he's a smart guy, probably a bit of a privileged, Mick's the kind of guy that could manipulate people, and get them to do what he wants, and then realize he doesn't care about them near as much a he's pretending to. I think Mick's probably a pretty good player. I think he's played quite a few people Bien à côté de la plaque !

HEROES VS VILLAINS

Colby [...] Nine years later he's in better shape than he was the first time around and he seems very focused. Euuuh... Non.

Cirie [...] if she can last the first five or six episodes, she will be a major threat to win. Probablement vrai, malheureusement ce ne fut pas le cas.

Parvati [...] is definitely someone that could win again. Elle n'a pas regagné, mais c'est quand même plutôt bien vu.

Russell [...] after what he did in 19, those guys better watch out, cause hewill damn sure do it again in 20! Bien vu, en même temps c'est plus facile de refaire ce qu'il a fait quand personne ne le connaît...

Rob [...] if I were betting, and if I had one shot to put my money on somebody, I'd put it on Rob. Peut-être qu'il aurait eu raison sans l'erreur de Tyson.

Coach [...] This time, Coach wants to win. But can he win? No! Tout à fait !


La suite plus tard, avec les prochaines saisons.

J'adore aussi me rematter les cast assessments, c'est assez marrant une fois les saisons finies
Très bonne initiative de ta part, je donnerai aussi mon avis dessus quand j'aurai plus de temps!

PS: Pour Samoa tu aurais dû mettre le très fameux "John Finsher is a poseur"

Rien de bien intéressant, il rappelait simplement certaines choses qu'elle avait faites dans sa première saison comme jeter la nourriture et laisser son ami Christa se faire accuser à sa place, ainsi que sa stratégie "As long as it ain't me" pour justifier qu'elle soit placée chez les Villains.

2è partie :

NICARAGUA

Jud is a favorite to me. He cracks me up. You'll ask Jud: "Hey, Jud, so tell me about your upbringing and he'll say: "Well, when I was little... Huhu! I was just thinking about how much I like apples. Jud reminds me of Jeff Spicoli from "Fast Times at Ridgemont High". Jud could do this way all the way to the end. J'ai pas vu le film dont Probst parle, mais la première phrase est plutôt juste, et la dernière étonnamment bien vue.

Wendy is deninitely an oddball. But Wendy will tell you she is an oddball. She's going to have to overcome an early slightly annoying factor. But that's just because she's different. Not everybody is slick, and got a cool haircut and comes from Los Angeles. And I hope she makes people eat their words. La première phrase est juste. La troisième, on peut dire qu'elle est juste, puisqu'elle n'est pas parvenue à surmonter ce dont Jeff parle. Et pour la dernière, c'est complètement raté.

Shannon is the kind of guy I love to see on the show because he's got all the physical attributes, he's a big guy and he's muscular but I don't know if he's paying enough attention to what going on between the ears. I'm not saying he's not up it. I'm just saying he might put too much importance on: "I'll do really well in challenges". Fine, you'll be gone at the merge. Surestimé par Jeff.

I like Marty. I think he's gonna say a lot of fun and interesting things, probably some outrageous things, I think he might make some dumb moves, but he WILL make moves. We know Marty's a player. He will play this game. And I like him already for that. Très bien vu.

Jimmy T [...] he's likable, he's charismatic. [...] complètement à côté de la plaque !

REDEMPTION ISLAND

Matthew reminds me physically a lot of Fabio who was on last year. But he couldn't me more different, other than the headtoss. Je suis d'accord avec la première phrase, mais pas vraiment avec la deuxième.

Stephanie Valencia if I'm right will be one of the first people voted out, if not the first. I hope I'm wrong. If my hunch is right, Stephanie right now out on the beach, in the rain already, hours into this game, is overwhelmed, and wishing she was back home, having a glass of wine and something to eat.
